On Tuesday, June 20, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson marks the official launch of the Creekside Solar Now renewable energy installation. The project features a total of 60 solar PV modules mounted on six boat sheds, with a generating capacity of 2.5 kilowatts per shed. The system will feed clean electricity back into the grid, and help to offset a portion of the energy used at the nearby Creekside Recreation Centre.
