You might notice an unusually large or small bill from BC Hydro this month. There’s been a problem with the smart meter transmitters since mid-January, so all of our bills have been estimated. The problem was fixed in August. If they’ve been undercharging you for the past 8 months, this month’s bill will be higher (mine was double what it has been). If you’ve been using less than they estimated, you will get a big discount on this bill.
