Shared Rooftop Garden 2013 Gets Growing

Turning the Winter Rye

The shared rooftop tenant garden is up and running for 2013. There are 18 units involved in the garden this year, with a mix of individual, shared, and community plots . The gardeners will be growing a mix of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We’re hoping for another bumper crop this year. A huge thanks to all the gardeners who pitched in to turn the winter rye and get the beds ready for planting.
