Village Life: A Theatre Across the Street

New Theatre Under Construction
The new Wall Centre False Creek building being constructed across the street from 122 Walter Hardwick was supposed to have a theatre operated by the Vancouver Playhouse, but they went out of business last year. Now, three local arts groups (Pacific Theatre, Arts Club, and Bard on the Beach) are looking to take over the space and operate a 44,00 sq ft, 250-seat theatre with five rehearsal halls. I think it will be great to have access to live theatre so close to home.

More details in the Vancouver Sun.
