Village Life: Craft Beer Market

The Salt Building has finally found a permanent tenant. The building was supposed to be a brew pub, but the lease holder (the Mark James Group) pulled out last year. Now, the Craft Beer Market is going to be opening a 350-seat restaurant/brew pub in the Salt Building with 140 beers on tap. Between the Tap & Barrel, Legacy Liquor, and the Craft Brew Pub, there will be no shortage of alcohol in the Olympic Village.

Residents of the Olympic Village are invited to an Open House on Saturday October 27 from Noon until 4 PM. Click here to RSVP.

More information in the Vancouver Sun and on Facebook.

And if another brewpub doesn’t have you jumping for joy, maybe the idea of a floating, trampoline bridge will. Scout Magazine thinks that Vancouver would be cooler if False Creek had a Giant Trampoline Bridge. I tend to agree.
